Friday after work, my friend and I love to relax, and taking a long drive to special places is one of the several things that relaxes us while enriching our intellect. Today, 10th July 2020, our destination was the town of Kipling which has the world's largest paperclip. World's Largest Paperclip The paperclip holds the Guinness World Record for the World's largest Paperclip. It was built by Ardel Steel of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and unveiled in the Town of Kipling on July 12, 2007. It is 15 feet 2 inches tall; 3 feet 32 inches wide, 45 feet 6.75 inches long, weighs 3043 lbs and is made of 5-inch diameter solid steel. Kipling officially became the Village of Kipling on September 13, 1909, and officially obtained status as the Town of Kipling in 1956. If you are in Saskatchewan, pay Kipling a visit. It is a wonderful small town with a lot of historic places for a great healthy interesting walking tour.
